“It is highly recommended that you don’t read this before you sleep. This article will be very complex and will leave you thinking about how to prove some points that will be mentioned. Unless the gene in your body that controls not caring is very strong, you will be up for some time thinking about this. Anyways, I should probably start this article because this disclaimer is getting too long. Bai!!!!

Ok, today it is my duty to mess with your mind. First of all, did you see the image up top? It looks like a gigantic spiral slowly spinning. What if I told you it wasn’t spinning? HA.

Fine. You MAY have expected that. But that’s only the tip of the iceberg.

What is color? No, SERIOUSLY, what is color. What is blue? If you said blue is the color of the sky, or blue is the color of water, or blue is the color of ______, then that doesn’t tell anything. Let’s say you were talking to someone who is blind. They went blind from a very young age and doesn’t remember color. You can’t say the blue is the color of the sky. They don’t know what the sky looks like. So technically, blue is nothing. Red is nothing. Color is nothing.

I’ve always wondered what the world would look like from the perspective of someone gone blind. Do their minds work like ours? When they go through the world and they have to remember things such as Oh right, that house is there” or “That restaurant is there” do they create mental images? If they do create mental images, would it be in black and white? Or is black nothing for them too? And if black is nothing then— there is no possible way for us to comprehend that because we don’t know what nothing is.

Are you thinking now? Well, one last thing. Can you define the word “the”? No, I’m not kidding, what does “the” mean?

It’s silly that we don’t know the meaning of the most commonly used word in English. But it is really hard. Do you think you can sleep tonight?

WELL, MY FRIENDS, THAT’S ALL THE TIME WE HAVE FOR TODAY!! I HOPED YOU ENJOYED THAT ARTICLE!!! PLEASE LIKE, COMMENT, AND FOLLOW ME!!!! NOW I’M OUTTA HERE!!!!

(Oh, and to freak you out more, look at the center of this spinning spiral and then look at your hand.)
